Frost, TX

Frost is a city in Navarro County, Texas, United States. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2), of which, 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2) of it is land and 0.88% is water. The town was established in 1881 when the St. Louis Southwestern Railway was constructed through Frost on its way from Corsicana to Hillsboro. It was named after Samuel R. Frost, attorney for the railroad and prominent local politician.
