Abbott, TX

Abbott is a city in Hill County in Central Texas. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all land. Abbott was founded in 1871 as a stop for the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad and was named for Jo Abbott, who represented the area in the Texas legislature at the time.
