Troy, TX

Troy is a city in Bell County, Texas, United States. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.6 square miles (9.3 km2), all of it land. Troy was established around a railroad station of the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad in 1882. It replaced an older Troy which is referred to as Old Troy, Texas. Originally it was known as New Troy. A weekly newspaper was established at Troy in 1892.
